The Weaving Project Two Day Workshop (1)

Janet Phillips worked with Guild members on the design and develoment of weaving projects. This first workshop covered design approaches, use of colour and planning of a sample blanket. 
Here are members of the Guild exploring various design themes and sharing ideas.
Here is a colour wheel the group created using yarns they had brought with them. Making the colour wheel highlighted the various design propoerties of colour and led to a lively debate about tone and hue and the ways in which various colours can be blended together.
