'Early Peruvian Twined & Braided Textiles 3500 BC to AD600': a talk by Roderick Owen

In the 1920's archaeologists discovered 450 mummy bundles on the Paracas Peninsula. Included in the outer wrapping were fabulous textiles made by many different methods, including twined braided headbands. It is the headband designs that will be examined during the presentation along with other twined structures made by the early Peruvians
