The Joan Elliot Knitting Award.
In memory of our long-standing member, Joan Elliot, who died in 2013, we have put in place an annual Knitting and Crocheting Award. Joan was a great knitter and amongst her possessions that were passed on to the Guild by her family was a beautiful, original painting of a young lady knitting (see left). Each year this will be awarded in a separate competition to the main one.
Entries are open to members. Deadline for the 2018 competition is November 17th. Entry form for 2018 competition.
Photos of winning entries can be found in the Gallery.
